Date people from California, United States. Well, I was born and raised overseas. I blame my upbringing for making me so travel-hungry. I have to travel and see new places. Actually, even more, I have to live in different places. I cannot fully experience another culture until I live there. Which is why, after college I returned to Germany to teach English. So, I am definitely looking for someone who has a sense of adventure and curiosity and wants to move and see things outside of his accustomed perspective. I am proud of my academic accomplishments and I think my medal from the 2000 Boston Marathon is pretty awesome!. I am grateful for my wonderful and supportive family, including my mom, brother and his family which includes two adorable boys, and my cousin and his beautiful family.
Though I don't watch that much TV, I do love watching The Colbert Report and The Daily Show - they both make me laugh out loud. And Family Guy!

I have followed Lance in his last Tour de France, trekked mountains peaks (Kili, Nepal, Peru, NZ) lost myself in amazing cultures and adventures (Bhutan, Cuba, India, meditation retreat in France, studying and biking in Italy, wine tasting in Europe, etc. ) while throughily enjoying living life large closer to home.
I can be found creating fun unusual adventures in the midst of the myriad exciting Bay Area activities, such as, frequently gallivanting on my road bike, hiking Mt Tam, as well as, enjoying fine dining or a great cool local hang out, playing bar dice or just relaxing at home.
While I'm not a huge cook-I can make one 'mean' Sicilian homemade tomato sauce and pasta. You know you're in with me if I share the special ingredient.
