I am a woman that grew up a total tomboy. I still like to work in the yard, wear overalls, use power tools, build things, do home improvement projects (I was in the interior design field for over 20yrs off and on), go hiking, play in the dirt and rain, drive a nail just for the heck of it, yet now I do this all while worrying if I might break a nail. ;) I like to do "tomboy" things however now I like to date boys instead of beat them at kickball, I like to dress up in a "little brown dress" instead of my oversized sweatshirt, and I like to get pedicures and have pretty toes when I walk around barefoot.
