Well...When I think of myself the first thing that comes into my mind is "Perfect"...then I wake up and realize the alarm's been going off for 25 minutes and I'm late for work. So, I get into the shower and look around for a razor so I can shave and I see that I forgot to buy any. I want to use the the old one I used last time, but I know if I do I'll probobly cut myself to ribbons, but I need to shave, so I use it anyway, and I cut myself to ribbons. I get out of the shower and put those little pieces of toilet paper all over my face to stop the bleeding and I start to get dressed (remember: if it smells clean it is clean). After getting dressed I go to my car and start driving to work and realize I forgot to feed the cat so I go back home and feed the cat and I get back in my car and drive to work. When I get there I find my boss and explain to him why I'm late, but he's not listening to me cause he's laughing his butt off because I forgot to take all those little pieces of toilet paper off my face. So I go to the bathroom and take them off, and I reflect to myself, "Boy I'm pretty lucky I don't operate any heavy machinery." Well that's about the gist of it! If that doesn't scare you off maybe we can get to know each other...:)

Date someone special from United States. Yesterday I was riding along the San Diego River looking out to the mouth of the estuary as it opens into the Pacific Ocean and all I could think is that I -- better said, we -- are among the luckiest folks on earth to live here in Southern California.

I am blessed with two wonderful children: Oliver (18) a top-notch swimmer just accepted to the University of Illinois - Urbana Champaign for electrical engineering / computer science, and Isabel (15) a model in the making with legs for days and a smile to match who loves to swing a stick in field hockey when she isn't the social butterfly of LJHS.
As for me, I am a successful entrepreneur with a passion for all things electric - that is, hydroelectric, solar, and waste-to-energy. God and clients have been good to me so I am often able to do business in the Latin America, Europe and Asia. For most of the last two years, however, I have been lucky enough to work closer to home here in the Western USA.
When I am grounded here in San Diego, I can be found riding my trusty Pinarello in East / North County. I also confess to riding from LJ to Point Loma, then to Balboa Park, and back up to LJ through the Presidio and beaches. Smallest big city around is San Diego.
Cycling requires lots of food, so while I am not Bobby Flay, I can turn a whisk and certainly flip a steak! And that makes me appreciate the waited table all the more. My favorite food haunts include Station Sushi (Bird Rock), Mille Fleur, The Fishery (PB), and the Whaling Bar (La V). Out of town, there is no better than the Post House in mid-town Manhattan. The waiters are so nice there they even let me fall asleep at dinner once after jet lag from Madrid got the better of me. Still had to pay the bill, though.

Meet a man from United States. I would consider my self as an easy going person, I don,t let the little things bother me, life is to short to have to worry about what others do or think. I work hard and try to play as hard as i can. I'm very secure with the job that i have and enjoy it. The friends that i have are very special to me and i enjoy the times we spend together. . I was raised in the Bay Area, but I've lived all over the USA.I have actually lived in every timezone in the US and Hawaii! At one point I was approached to move to Anchorage, well that's the only timezone I haven't lived in, sorry no wearing sunglasses at midnight for me! Plus I wanted to stay close to my family, where else can you appreciate so much, beach, city, and of course Tahoe! I like snowboarding, travel, a good deli sandwich, going out for dinner and having a great bottle of wine (beer), live shows, antiques, rare books, old cars and my values dictate that nothing is free so if you want it you better work for it. I believe in family and all it stands for, I love America and animals, not always in that order, and would like to hang out with the right person....is that so wrong!
I tried my luck at opening a Vintage Bookstore, alas back to work, well at least I tried! Damn Kindle!

Me; I'm simple, humble, funny, career driven, successful, I keep fit and watch what I eat but love food, cooking and eating out. I'm a pretty mellow person, I love to people watch, do fun things but not into extreme activities...although I used to ride and race mountain bikes. My dream right now is to stop working in 3-5 years (I guess that's called "retire") and maybe go live on the beach in costa rica, so if you speak Spanish that would be a bonus. I will probably run out of money when I'm about 75 though and will have to work at McDonald's or Walmart the rest of my life...that's gonna suck.
Music: I love it! Brittany Spears, Milli Vanilli, New Kids on the Block, Backstreet Boys, NSYNC...these are just some of the groups I don't like. What I like is; Jeff Buckley (amazing), Ben Harper, Eagles, Willie Nelson, I even like some 50 cent, Adele...a diverse variety if you will... If a song is good I like it. When I was a young kid, I was very cute (what happened), I wanted to play the guitar so my parents bought me a guitar and put me in lessons. All I wanted to do is play Eagles songs but the instructor said that is many years away, their songs are very difficult and he made me play things like Michael rowed his boat ashore (or is it rode, not sure if mike was a passenger in the boat or the skipper) (booooring) so I gave up the guitar, therefore, now I'm not cool and not on the road touring with my band sleeping with tons of hot groupies; so you won't have to worry about that with me, I won't be on the road sleeping with groupies.

. I am a positive upbeat loving loyal and, honest person. What you see is what you get with me and I have my feet firmly planted on the ground. I was raised with values and morals and was taught to treat women with respect. I don't take anything or everyone for granted and I am so thankful for the little things in my life. I am recently divorced and I have two grown daughters who live in FL and I am proud to say they were raised and turned out right. I live in San Diego and I am so blessed with the best job in the world which allows me to travel SoCal and enjoy the sites that southern California has to offer from LA to SD. I am very active, I don't watch much tv, I rather be out doing something or reading something outside enjoying the fresh air, I do love watching a good movie and relaxing to music. I try to workout daily and I believe in being fit, not a perfect body here, just a healthy one, I love walking, love seeing sunsets and I love the beaches that we are blessed with living in SoCal. I enjoy going Little Italy and Gaslamp to enjoy a good meal and enjoy the Padres or have a glass of wine or a good imported beer and I love people watching.
