I mean it, there has yet to be a time when I see one and I haven't tried to win a toy! I also love the Food Network, especially Paula Dean. She is a goddess and she has to be made of at least 90% butter. On that note, one of my favorite things to do is to cook and create new dishes. I will frequently have my friends over for dinner parties to taste the new dishes I make and even some classic old ones. I have just mastered the pot roast. I just feel like nothing is better than gathering around a table of great food and wine and with the people you love.
When I am not in the kitchen I go out with friends usually and grab a drink or go to a concert. Sometimes I try to coax them into karaoke-ing because I think its so fun. I travel as often as I can whenever I can. I am starting to get into camping (my favorite smell is bonfire) and hiking. Although I would consider myself an extrovert I really enjoy solitary moments (when I can fit them in my schedule). I truly enjoy down time, to reflect on my life, to improve on aspects that need mending, and appreciate the good that I have been blessed with.
I love spending time with my family they fill a room with so much love it makes me feel fuzzy inside. In fact, I would say that the most influential person in my life is my dad. He taught me how to be strong and self-sufficient which I am pretty sure is the reason why I am where I am in my life today. At the same time, he made it a point to show me how to be supportive, honest, kind to others, share good fortune when you have it, and how to prioritize my life. I am definitely not your typical "daddy's girl" since my Dad will not let me get away with anything! But this high standard makes me a better person and keeps me grounded.
One of the most important things that I look for in a partner are good values, I feel as though the start of any wonderful relationship begins with shared values. Basically, that means I'm very good at balancing work and fun. Being a psych nurse can get ugly if you don't know how to de stress and have fun. I lead an active lifestyle. I workout and run regularly, completed 2 Tough Mudders. I have a true passion for cooking simple yet gourmet food and enjoying it with family and friends, who are very important to me. A large part of my personality is my sense of humor. I laugh at myself-often. One of my goals in life is to travel more. I'm really passionate about books and music, but I'm pretty judgey about grammar, Nickleback, and Jets fans. And, I do enjoy being treated right.
