Date someone special from Vacaville, United States. Like most people I enjoy going out and being with friends. Yes I like it even more when I am with someone who enjoys the little things in life. Inasmuch, I also enjoy staying home, cuddling up in front of the fire and watching a good movie. Camping and water skying is a big part of my summer life, while snow skying and hitting Tahoe are part of my winter life. Whatever I do, and wherever I go, I enjoy positive people. Being a Youth Pastor for years, I never expected to be here. But life has a funny way of challenging us.
I would like to meet, someone that is not only positive about life, but is also a woman of integrity. One who looks forward to building a life, one that still dreams of what can be. A best friend that I can confide in and most of all trust with my emotions. One that may not have already unpacked all her bags, but is working to do so and not afraid to acknowledge that. Not one who is perfect, but one who is working to better themselves for themselves and not others. One who remembers what it is like to be a kid at times, and still has that playful girl inside that comes to the surface now and then.
If you are one, lets chat and see where it leads.
PS If you doing keep yourself in shape, Body Soul & Spirit I will not respond.
Bless you all & good luck.

Meet a soulmate from Vacaville, United States. Returning to Match after taking a break to raise my daughter and send her off to college.
I would like to meet some one whose had enough life experiences to know what they want, what is important to them, and willing to do whatever it takes to make it work. I would like to meet a woman who does not NEED a man in her life to complete her, but rather "chooses" to have a man to share in and compliment her life. It is okay if you don't share the same opinion/view all the time, as long as you respect the other's right to have a different opinion. Besides, it makes for interesting dinner conversation and can provide another perspective that you may not necessarily have considered.
Being a logical analytical thinker, I used to think in terms of black and white, yes or no, right or wrong. It made life simple for me. Over time, life has taught me that considering the myriad shades of grey is much more suitable in most situations. I realize that no one is perfect (myself included, read.. a life-long work in progress) but would like to find someone who understands their strengths and weaknesses and works to improve them both. We all have baggage, but I believe mine will fit in the overhead compartment ;o). Honesty, Integrity, and sincerity are key traits that who I hold in high value.
I'm sure we both know how easy it is to fall into the mundane that is every day life. You know what I mean? We all have that daily ongoing dialogue in our head that keeps us from noticing the the world around us (including each other). Life is supposed to be a journey, not a destination, so try to enjoy the scenery. We are all here for such a brief time, and life is what you make it, so I try very hard to live in the moment.
My favorite quote:
"Life should not be measured by the number of breaths you take, but rather the moments in life that take your breathe away".
Other favorite quotes that have shaped the way I try to live:
In life, no one gets out alive!
You don't stop moving because you get old, you get old because you stop moving!
Don't sweat the small stuff, and. it's all small stuff! (that one is so true, but sometimes difficult to keep in mind)
If you have read up to this point you may have noticed I am not your typical neanderthal. I do not initiate contact (yes I understand it is unconventional), but if you are reading my profile because I favorited you, I am interested. I have found this method saves time in finding perspective dates that have a mutual interest and are more likely to meet(in person) than email endlessly. So IF there is a mutual interest please drop me a quick note.
What I would hope to find in a partner is someone who is versatile/flexible. One weekend, you can throw your hair in a ponytail and a ball cap on our way to Home Depot Saturday morning. Then after we finish working on our project TOGETHER and knock off for the day, we get all dressed up and head out for a night on the town with me beaming proudly to have you on my arm as much as you being proud to be there. The next weekend we jump in the Camper and drive hours away from the hustle and bustle of every day life and find a place where the only noise we hear is the crackling of the campfire and the rushing of the stream.Don't get me wrong, I can have just as much fun at a 5 Star Hotel or Vacation Resort where we get a massage after a day of fun in the sun/water/or snow before going out to dinner where there is more than one fork in the table setting:~P.
HUGE bonus points if you hold a season pass to any ski resort or scuba dive! My two FAV's, both of which require travel, yay! Mention either in your email subject you move to the head of the Line.
Update 11/16: I don't have Internet at home (weird I know) and I work 24 hr shifts. What this means is I have limited opportunities to check email. Additionally I am trying to avoid engaging in dialogue with several different prospective dates.
