Date single boy from California, United States. I'm 19 and currently work three jobs and go to college. My goal is to be able to provide for myself and a partner. I hope to someday have a family with two kids.
My perfect woman is someone who is kind, though full, loving, looks beyond someone's exterior and looks at the interior, and someone who loves to laugh.
If you want to get to know me lets have dinner sometime.
Meet a boy from Manhattan Beach, United States. I'm a college student. I have spent a few years snowboarding on Mt. Hood working as a chairlift attendant, then spent time working construction in Los Angeles. I decided that I wanted more rewarding work and began a college education. I will be transfering to Oregon State in the fall. As for what my queen... I really dont know what i want. I know that we all have our opions about our so called "type", but that selfproclaimed preferance has no corilation to whom we are attracted in the moment. In otherwords... Im open to almost anything.
Date single boy from Manhattan Beach, United States. My name is Greg. I am new to the LA area and thought this might be a good way to meet people. I am very laid back and enjoy having a good time. Looking for somebody that is smart, driven, but doesn't take themselves too seriously. I like to try new things and travel a lot. Sarcasm is a must I love a girl that can take a joke and send one right back. I try to stay as active as possible and somebody that also likes to be outdoors and be active is a definite plus.I feel like my strengths are my spontaneity, ability to relax and enjoy the moment, and being able to actually listen to people. My weaknesses are lack of patience, anything chocolate, and parallel parking. My personality is a bit strange, one minute I can be extremely talkative and outgoing while others times I might come off as shy and introverted. I am big into my family and want a girl whose family is important to her. My philosophy on life is to look at things in the big picture. If something is really important to you go for it passionately but don't get caught up in the trivial things that might not matter as much in the big scheme of life. In short I'm looking for somebody fun and adventurous that can maybe show me around the area and enjoy each other's company
Meet someone special from Manhattan Beach, United States. Not sure what to say here, just checking it out and seeing if this is for me. I know some people who have had success on these types of sites so I figured it was worth a try for myself. Thanks so much.
Date someone special from California, United States. I grew up in Manhattan Beach, CA and I consider myself to be a fairly typical, but not stereotypical, Southern California guy. I like staying active and I love the beach, sand, and mountains. Oh and I do surf.
For college, I decided I wanted to get a change of scenery and moved up to Washington. Living in Washington was tough, but it provided me with excellent life experience because I was living on my own, and having to adjust to a new way of life, which forced me to do a lot of growing up in a rather short period of time. All in all, it was a great learning/maturation experience for me. Upon graduating, I realized that I really missed the warm sun, sand, and water of Southern California so I moved back to LA.
As for my personal life, I consider having a good group of fun-loving, down-to-earth people, be they friends or family members, as essential to my being happy. My family is a big part of my life. I come from a very close knit immediate and extended family. To give you an idea, during our tri-yearly massive extended family gatherings, everyone shows up, and I mean everyone. These gatherings are usually three days long and involve 35-50 people. Some of the usual activities include surfing, playing soccer or football on the beach, uber competitive games of scrabble, some intense business/political/philosophical debates, and just goofing off and laughing while enjoying each others company.
If I had to list the traits that best describe me I would say that I am loyal, honest, intelligent, creative, inquisitive, have a great sense of humor, thoughtful, caring, and considerate. As can probably be expected, I consider it essential that the people, especially the woman, I have in my life to also exhibit many, if not all, of those qualities as well.
I currently work for a rapidly growing tech company, based in Torrance, CA, where I help run the rewards commerce part of their business. I enjoy my job and am happy to be in a place where hard work is rewarded and new creative ideas are always welcome. It's a fun work environment. We have a pool table, which is always in use, and we play a bi-weekly intra-office pickup basketball game.
In my free time, I try to spend as much of it keeping busy/social, as possible. After all, it’s not fun sitting home alone. I usually do this by hanging out with friends taking part in sports/activities (mainly for fun and exercise) and exploring new areas. For example, I enjoy race go-karts (I do so Wednesday nights with some buddies), surfing, and snowboarding, and playing most sports. I am also a certified SCUBA diver. On the more intellectual side of things, I am fascinated by and enjoy learning about pretty much all things related to science, history, and the world around me. I also like visiting museums and going to concerts on occasion. In addition, I also enjoy politics and good political/philosophical debates and am a certified SCUBA diver. On the more intellectual side of things, I am fascinated by and enjoy learning about pretty much all things related to science, history, and the world around me. I also like visiting museums and going to concerts on occasion. I should also mention that I am not a big partyer/bar hopper, but I do go out with friends on occasion. I do drink, but only in moderation and I never smoke.
While I like staying active, I also enjoy taking it easy as well. My other interests/hobbies include reading books (just finishing the Steve Jobs biography), watching movies.TV shows, and playing video games,.
So what I am looking for?
I am looking for a woman who is kind, loyal, intelligent, honest, and has a good sense of humor. It's important that we can easily talk to one another and feel comfortable sharing our thoughts and feelings. After all, a relationship is a two way street and shouldn't revolve around only one person's interests and opinions. I hope that, over time, she become my best friend, confidant, and hopefully the love of my life.
Meet a boy from United States. Ok, lets make this short and sweet. At this point of my dating career I want to try something different, so hear I am. In my spare time I like to relax and watch a hockey game or do some that that involves Marine life, and staying fit. I work as a Marine Aquaculturist, and I love my job. I have three main passions in life, My dog, the ocean and fitness, in no real order, but if you asked my dog he would say he is first.
Want I want is a best friend, someone that knows how to support their friends and has a good head on their shoulders.
Date single boy from United States. Easy going is how most people would describe me. I just moved to Manhattan Beach a few months ago to be closer to work. I've been working now for my family's produce business in downtown LA for the past 3 years. I work with my both immediate and extended family, which at times can be tough, but overall has given me an greater appreciation for how hard they've worked. I enjoy the industry I work in and I've developed a healthier lifestyle because of it. I usually try to go to the farmer's market once a week to see what local produce is available and am in the process of starting a small organic produce business with a friend of mine. Food is a big part of my life, I like going to try new restaurants and like most foods. Exercise is pretty important to me and I enjoy running and cycling when I can. I'm looking for a girl that is active as well, someone that I can be myself around and have fun with. It's also important to me that she is independent.
Meet someone special from United States. Hey what’s up?! I’m a very sociable, outgoing, fun guy with a great sense of humor. I get along with everyone and I love having a good time.
I grew up on a sandbar. A place called Cape Cod in the state of Massachusetts. Moved to LA in 2007 and have been loving every moment since.
I love the vibe and diversity LA has. The fact that you can go to any part of this town and experience something different is amazing to me.
I usually live by the following statement when it comes to girls: Looks get me interested and personality keeps me interested. Physical attraction is definitely needed but beyond that, there's nothing worse than a pretty face and a stale personality. Sense of humor is huge. Someone that isn't afraid to be a goofball and a huge dork from time to time.
I'm looking for someone genuine and down to earth. Someone that doesn't get caught up in the "Hollywood lifestyle" of glitz and glamor. Someone who has good morals, that's close to the fam. I strongly believe that your upbringing has a huge influence on the person you grow into. I'm very thankful to have such amazing parents that support me in everything that I do. I realize that a lot of people are less fortunate and I definitely don't take anything for granted. But I'd still love to find someone with a similar upbringing that still gets along with their family.
I'm living in Manhattan Beach. It's incredible down here and I'm just a block to the sand, so going to the beach whenever I want isn't much of a problem. It's a fun little beach community that is just far enough from the madness of LA.
I like to go out to the various bars with friends in Manhattan and Hermosa, Venice and Santa Monica. Beach it. BBQs. House parties. Movies. It's more my style. Hollywood once every couple months and I can usually get my fix. If you're still reading, good for you. Maybe we have something in common. Hit me up if you think we'll click!
Date a guy from United States. we are very attracted to one another where the physical is noticed 1st, & then we discover we connect and fit in the non-physical ways as well. I want to know without a doubt that she's the girl for me. Nobody is perfect, but I do think there is a perfect match for me & I don't care to settle, especially at the age of 25.
Meet someone special from California, United States. I'm a fun loving, easy going, caring person who tries to squeeze the most out of life. I love to laugh and to make those around me laugh. A great man once said, 'if we weren't all crazy we'd all go insane.' Love not sweating the small things, letting loose and having fun. I love nothing more than traveling and spend every vacation from work exploring a new city / culture. I truly enjoy experiencing life in other parts of the world and love learning from the locals. I also enjoy working hard and helping to support those around me. I am very loyal and put my friends, family and loved ones above all else. Two most important qualities a person could have, in my opinion, are loyalty and humility.
I'm looking for someone who is smart, confident, happy, fun loving, spontaneous and creative. Hoping to meet a girl with a big heart, a great smile, and a sense of humor.
Date a guy from United States. I moved here from FL and love it in LA! I am a very active and energetic individual. Everything I do is fast pace and exciting. I am always on the go and love to go on new adventures at every opportunity. I am a dynamic individual who is talented in a wide range of skills and acitivites ranging from building sports cars to making the best long island ice tea to you ever had to playing sports.
Meet a soulmate from United States. Currently, I am a 26 year old guy working in the service industry in the South Bay. I am a Boston transplant and am very pleased about not having to deal with the snow every winter (after being at home for Christmas and experiencing -10 weather, I'll take the beach thank you very much). I originally came out here for grad school, but after finishing up my courses, I decided to stay. One could say that the South Bay had become home to me although I will still defend my Bruins, Red Sox, Patriots, and Celtics to the death.. In my spare time I exercise, take/teach MMA at a local school, and work (I know, sooooo glamorous). Those are pretty time consuming, but I always seem to fime to go out and have a good time. I will always manage to still find time to go out with my friends, whether it is trips to Las Vegas or just a short run down to the beach, I am always ready to have experience new things (I just do not always have a partner in crime). Back east I used to go to concerts quite a bit (80's hair metal mostly since we would all dress up like members of the band) but that has kind of died down out here....not sure why. That isn't to say that I do not also enjoy relaxing nights at home with a good movie and an attempt at a home cooked meal. I pride myself on being upfront with people. Sometimes that works out and sometimes it doesn't. One thing is for sure, what you see is what you get...I just chalk that up to the East Coast in me.
Right now I am just trying to enjoy myself out in California and would like to meet someone who can have a good time no matter where they are; i've always said, even if you are in a cardboard box, you can find something to do. I mean, as the great Matthew McConaughey said in Dazed and Confused, "The older you get, the more rules they are going to try and get you to follow. You just gotta keep on livin', man. L-I-V-I-N."
Oh yeah, and the reason why I didn't list the whole "eye color thing" is because they are bluish-green. Kind of annoyed me that you couldn't pick both. Match, get on that.
