Me:
I'm outgoing, friendly, and can usually fit comfortably with just about any crowd. I’m rabidly loyal to my friends. I'm healthy but not a health nut. (Part of my job involves managing a gym, so I don't really have an excuse not to stay in shape. Plus I'm blessed with a wicked metabolism that allows me to eat pretty much whatever I want. Don't hate me.)
I'm a sucker for animals, kids, and homeless people. I get choked up at the occasional chick flick or heart-wrenching documentary, but you wouldn't be able to tell. I'm not particularly spiritual or new-agey. I eat meat (and don’t plan to give it up), but sometimes I feel guilty afterward. I love to discuss and/or debate politics, current events, sports, religion, movies, books, pop culture, etc., but I rarely get worked up or offended.
I enjoy games, especially in groups. Board games, card games, whatever. I kick butt at Rock Band, Guitar Hero, and Wii Tennis. I indulge in the occasional social drink, and try to organize a night on the town every couple weeks when I can round up enough friends. I don't mind shy, quiet girls, but I do have trouble relating to people who take themselves too seriously.
I'm really good at basketball. And I'm also very modest ;) But seriously, if you can beat me in a game of one-on-one basketball I’ll do your laundry for a month...just drop your hamper in my driveway and I'll deliver the clean clothes to your doorstep, washed, sorted and folded, no strings attached. What have you got to lose? Except a game of basketball, that is...
I've been to Greece, Holland, England, Germany, Canada, Mexico, Italy, and 47 of our 50 American states (and counting). I'm addicted to traveling--maybe because I toured with a circus as an acrobat from ages 9 - 15. Seriously. It's a long story, and I'd have to get to know you better.
So that’s me. As for you, I'm looking for someone fun, intelligent, and preferably friendly (cute is a definite plus). Feisty is nice, crazy not so much. I tend to be rational and a planner, so I appreciate people who are spontaneous and quirky. But I also like spending time around highly motivated, Type-A personalities. Mostly I'm just looking for decent, sane girls without excessive emotional baggage. If that's you, it might be worth a shot.
And who knows, you might even end up with free laundry service...
