I moved to the Bay Area after growing up in Chicago and moving around the Southeast for school and training. I love being in a place where you can enjoy the outdoors, walk the city, and take in amazing scenery. I find it hard to pass up the chance to snap a picture of a gorgeous sunset or a spectacular view of the ocean. I try to never waste a beautiful day.
I'm very thankful for my family - the sacrifices my parents have made, the support they've always provided. I'm very close with the fam, especially my little sis (know one knows me better!), but they're all back in Chicago. I moved away a long time ago, but my friends and family know they can count on me for ANYTHING, anytime. I enjoy the work I do, but I always make time to catch up with friends and family, near or far. Some of the moments I remember the most are those I've spent with my loved ones and best friends over the years. We have a habit of staying up way too late - when everything makes us fall over laughing.
I notice the little things that happen and find humor in them, because if you can't laugh at the little things, life can be pretty tough!
I am always up for something new. A restaurant I've never been to, a hole-in-the-wall joint someone recommended, live music, a different hiking trail, or getting in the car and just going somewhere - anywhere. It's always more fun to have another explorer by your side though!
