Meet someone special from California, United States. My name is Will and im 32 years old. I decided to give this a shot as meeting people coupled with the demands of a career doesnt always work out and the bar scene can get old fast. I graduated from Cal State Hayward and I am a project engineer. I love sports, working out, movies, shooting some pool, staying in on friday night or going out for fun night with friends, traveling and most importantly my puppy and hitting the trails. I have to admit the older I've gotten, the more important good wine has become especially during A good movie or yes The Jersey Shore, i still find it hilarious or getting into The Sons of Anarchy or The Walking Dead. I try not to take life so serious all the time and look at life and the daily things that come up from a glass half full perspective.. I know who I am, where Ive been and most importantly where Im going in life. I still like a good fun night out or a quiet night in with good company. I have the best friends in the world, an amazing family and an awesome puppy. I was born in Philly, lived in Dallas, Atlanta and now the Bay Area. There is no better place in the country to live in my experience except I only get to see my hometown Eagles or Phillies a couple times a year but i love all sports in general and going to a game is always bound to be a good time! Im definitely a social person and look forward to any new experience. I still believe in chivalry and anyone who hasn't lived down south should take a trip to GA and look at how people treat one another. I still have a close relationship with my parents and watching them stay together over 30 something years also taught me what it takes to have a good foundation for a lasting relationship. Well thats me, in the best a few sentences can describe!
Im looking for a girl who can keep up with me and knows who she is and where shes going in life but most importantly how to enjoy the ride without taking everything so serious and is confident in herself and ready for a relationship and over all the immature dating games we have all experienced! Anything else, feel free to email!
Date a man from California, United States. Well, I’ll just try to hit the highlights here. My name’s Chris, I’ve lived in Sacramento for about five years now, and I kinda’ love it! I run a restaurant…it’s a good job…good pay and benefits, but the hours are pretty harsh…make’s some things (like meeting new people and dating difficult at times). I’ve been picking up classes here and there, to get into water treatment and hydro-engineering (it’s kind of a long story). Let’s see…what else? Music is probably my biggest passion…I love all types of music…I love to play, to write, to listen. I also have a movie collection that puts most Blockbusters to shame.
I try not to spend too much time on my couch watching movies and playing guitar though. I like to get out and go for a good long hike or a bike ride when I can. I’m also kind of a “foodie”, so it’s important to me to try and stay active as much as I can (gotta’ work off all those calories when I can).
I’ve been called “witty” and dare I say even “charming” at times…I tend to think “geeky” and “nerdy” fit the bill a little more often though. The only other words I want to throw out there are “honest” and “sincere”…I would say those are the only two words that really matter to me the most.
There’s a lot more I could say about myself…but, let’s leave ourselves something to talk about on our first date ;)
If you’re interested send me a wink or an e-mail and lets chat…we gotta’ start somewhere ;)
Meet men and women from California, United States. Hi I'm Gabe, thanks for taking the time to check out my profile.. I'm an adaptable person who can feel comfortable in almost any situation, excluding finding himself on a roller coaster. I majored in drawing and painting at UCSC, and since have kept my artistic side alive, showing work throughout the years. But up till now, my work had lacked a certain sense of maturity. So presently I am embracing the direction of a type of value to the viewer from my life perspective. On a more general note, I find science very interesting, the rocky beaches of HMB are beautiful, and animals are really entertaining.
Date single man from California, United States. I’m going to give this profile thing another whirl. I was born in Colorado, raised in the midwest, and moved to Vegas for school. I got stuck there a little longer than planned and ended up starting a career. Then, I ditched that and moved here to start over again.
I don’t really have a hobby anymore since I made a career out of it but am trying to figure out a new one. I golf, bowl, and play a bit of poker. I’ve been known to enjoy hiking, camping, skiing, a little snowboarding (although my butt doesn’t like it much), go carting, ice skating, riding mechanical bulls, checking out artwork, and watching movies. Some other fun facts, I’ve been thrown from a moving jeep, chased down a runaway truck, fallen into a fire (I say pushed), dragged through a snowy field by my ankles tied to a horse, inhaled a carrot, broken my nose, and nearly killed by a 10 ton air jack. I’ll try anything once.
Some favorite things, peanut butter M&M’s, Mellow Yellow, Chic-fil-a, a monkey wearing clothes, and laughing so hard I can’t breathe.
More fun facts, I’ve remodeled a house, can drive an 18 wheeler, and can’t juggle for crap.
Overall, I’m a quiet guy who likes to have fun and can genuinely get along with anybody. I am pretty laid back and have more patience than anyone I know. I have a great family who I care a lot for and talk to often.
Who I’m looking for, well I wouldn’t be here if I knew that. You'll know better than me. If nothing above sends you running for the hills then we may have a chance.
So let me know if you’re interested and we can go from there.
One more fun fact, if you click on something else whilst typing your profile, you lose it all and have to retype it. I don’t know how I know that...
Meet people from California, United States. I have always been extremely ambitious. In high school, I didn’t stop until I was class president and an Eagle Scout. I was big into soccer, track and student government. My parents were big into taking my four younger sisters and I to every national park we could drive to from Wisconsin, so I have seen a few. My memories of growing up were of camping next to lakes in the summer with water skiing and ghost stories in the tent and sleeping in a single room cabin in the winter next to a fire with peppermint schnapps in our hot chocolate and going cross country skiing. My family always goes to Florida for the holidays; we don’t give many presents but instead steal ourselves away so we can be with each other on the beach for a week.
At the academy, the world opened up to me and I was able to visit 26 countries and most of the bigger cities in the US- to this day I have never been to Hawaii though, want to go? I was in Hong Kong for New Years Eve 2000 and I have been through the Panama Canal seven times. I went to grad school at the University of Michigan in Ann Arbor for engineering and have lived in France, Seattle, Boston and I just recently moved to San Francisco. I have been to seven of Canada’s provinces and at one point went to Mexico four years in a row. Two of my sisters have studied abroad in Spain and that is probably the foreign country I have spent the third most time in aside from France and Mexico- I really like sangria.
Time does fly. I would say I have spent most of my time traveling with family and friends. We really like to do it right both in luxury and adventure and some of my favorite things while traveling are bath robes, outdoor showers, king sized beds with insect screens, getting the wrong food when you don’t know the language, hot tubs, waterfalls, palm trees, after sun lotion, cold mountain rivers, stinky hot springs, scented candles, martini glasses made of ice, board games, trying to touch a moose, volcanic mud baths, dogs barking on a starry night, private pools, boat docks, beach huts, tree houses, buffets, zoos, new rental cars, fancy dinners in downtown areas, scuba, streaking, bar dice, snowball fights, snorkeling, falling asleep fully clothed, picnics in scenic places, the first snow, early morning dew, burning wood, insect/frog noises on a lake, a car completely stuffed with weeks of stuff, statues in the middle of plazas, cathedrals, mariachis, costumes, laughing when things can’t get any worse, the random times it decides to rain, realizing the need to take action to avoid further trouble, figuring things out, seeing people early in the morning, coffee, breakfast, sunrise, grilling, bare feet in the ocean…sunset. All of these things have kept me busy since I can remember and I hope for much longer.
These days, the amount of responsibility at work is getting more and more exciting while more and more of my friends are doing their own thing. I stick to the basics; I work really hard and remain ambitious, when I come home I like to run for exercise, call family and friends, have some personal time and then try to get as much rest as possible to do it all over again. When I am not doing that, I am usually lost in a grocery store, stuck in an airport, on a boat in the ocean or spending countless hours planning my next trip if I’m not actually on it. I most like to spend time with people who make me laugh, like the outdoors but can easily dress up for a night on the town and who don’t want anything to stop them from enjoying life to its fullest. If I could put a palm tree or a fountain in my apartment- I would. In the past few weeks I have driven completely across country by myself and loved it, I have also driven completely across Fort Collins, CO on a bicycle brewery tour. I hope some of this catches your eye and look forward to hearing from you, I can’t wait to explore San Francisco.
Date a soulmate from United States. Serious stuff:
I believe hard work is the only path to success. I'm a man of quiet confidence and I have an even keel. I'm understanding, easy-going, compassionate, and level headed. You could call me more tortoise than hare. I like that about me. I value health dearly and continuously strive to improve my own. Years and years of martial arts training has me very comfortable in my own skin. I am happy with who I am and where I am going. I am a musician and music will always be a precious part of my life.
Fun stuff:
So all seriousness aside, I'm a geek. I don't get fanatic about movies or nerdy shows, board games, etc... I just love that stuff. I can't quote all of Star Wars, although I wish I could and admire those who can. The dorky and geeky side of me is tempered by the side of me that loves baseball, martial arts, and a drink at my local pub. I also enjoy hiking, biking, walks on the beach, or spending time at a mountain lake. Poker is another favorite of mine. I write music for video games and play jazz piano (although I love playing many other styles). I have been playing since I was 5.
I love puppies more than kittens.
Meet someone special from United States. Me: I'm a simple guy with an open mind. work hard but enjoys every minute of the life. In most situations I'm trying to be positive and cheers others as well. I like the outdoor especially the beach, camping, hiking and sometimes plays golf. Trying different restaurants, movies, concerts mostly I enjoy in my past time. Learning new technologies also a passion of mine, cuz i know it always comes in handy. I enjoy being with people who are positive and loves life just as much as I do.
Her: It's awesome to find someone genuine and down to earth. She is great if understanding and kind. I believe the age doesn't matter as long as the heart is caring. It's really cool if she has good sense of humor and find ways to enjoy the life together.
Date a man from United States. Excuse me while I talk myself up a bit...
I'm a good-natured, kind-hearted, and sarcastic goofball of a guy looking for someone to do life with.
I don't want to live a boring life. I want to live big. See the world. Make a difference. I'm hopeful I can meet someone who wants to write a good life story with me. In short, I'm looking for the other half of a great power couple.
I'm a pretty driven guy. I often find myself chasing after several dreams and goals all at once. I'm the type to write down my short-term and long-term goals and do whatever it takes to achieve them. I love the feeling of crossing things off a to-do list.
I'd like to meet someone who has dreams of their own and is actively and passionately chasing after those dreams. Someone kind. Someone who is generous and thoughtful. Someone independent. A good listener and communicator. Someone who values loyalty and commitment. Someone who knows what it is to work at a relationship.
I aspire to be the kind of honest, ambitious, trustworthy and strong man that is deserving of a truly special woman. I guess I'm just looking for that rare relationship where each person truly and genuinely puts the other first.
I asked my friends (guys and girls) to describe me and this is what I got back: driven, smart, funny, sarcastic, analytical, handsome, wounded, and loyal.
I'll wrap up with this. A wise pastor/mentor of mine once told me, "Yknow what? I watch all you young people trying to figure out your personal lives and I swear to God - It's like you're all scared to death of each other. Just talk. Go on a date. Stop being so afraid and just have some fun!!" Some of the wisest words I think I ever heard.
What's your story?
