I have been told I have a lot to offer someone and will make someone happy. Meet a soulmate from Centennial, United States. In summer, I like getting up to the mountains , or onto one of the bigger lakes to enjoy the sun, wind and waves. Love to take my kids and their friends out tubing and fishing, usually at Chatfield. I like sharing experiences with the people around me, sharing something that may be new to them. I'm a giver in that department. I Ski in winter, and usually head up to winter park or copper. Back to summer, I love to go on motorcycle rides through the twisty mountain roads and canyons. After a great ride, stopping in a small mountain town to walk around and find a bite to eat is just the ticket on a summer weekend, or maybe stopping for a picnic lunch by a lake or stream. I try to keep things simple, basic and fun. I enjoy trips to the Caribbean and am a diver. I am a dog lover. On the home front, I look forward to quiet nights at home grilling, reading, listening to music or watching a movie. Concert DVD's are a favorite as well. I like to go bowling, and would like to join a couples league someday. Favorite TV shows would be House, Chuck, Mythbusters, Science Channel, History, NatGeo and Discovery. Yeah, I'm a bit of a science guy. If I'm walking by one, I can't pass up going into a bookstore. Going into Barnes and Nobles, selecting a small stack of books and magazines and settling into one of their couches with a fresh cup of coffee is one of my favorite rainy/snowy day things to do.
I enjoy most genres of music at different times, but like classic and 90's rock the best. I have been known to thoroughly enjoy a good 80's band from time to time. I'll wear one of my black concert t-shirts, but won't wear any of the other 80's fashion statements. Once in my life was enough! : )
Saw Foo Fighters for the first time at Pepsi Center last Fall, and was awed and inspired. I haven't heard that much positive emotional energy from a band in a long time. Have been listening to a lot of Foo Fighters lately as a result, and have been getting into the deeper cuts. Just returned from a spring break trip with my kids, and I helped them discover early Beatles music while driving and singing along. My daughter got a kick out of how the first song would be a deep love song, then the next a break up song. It became a fun guessing game which would be next!
Pop and country are generally not my thing, but I did take my daughter to see Taylor Swift last summer, and had a blast. I ended up shouting "we love you Taylor!" at the top of my lungs along with a couple thousand pre-teen girls. Great fun!. Love Red Rocks, and I like to see local bands too.
My friends would describe me as a loyal, easy going, honest, intelligent and dependable person with a good sense of humor. Empathy is a big part of my make up, both in my professional and personal life. I mesh with people who are honest, loyal, energetic, warm and caring.

TODAY I AM EVOLVED AND SELF AWARE: Earlier I had to be around people. Today I have a select group of close friends and I also enjoy spending quiet time at home, be it writing or painting/drawing or cooking for my teen daughter and her friends or talking to my 5 year old nephew in India. This evolution came after I learned a few things:
1.I would rather be alone than be lonely in the company of someone.
2.I need to appreciate my own company and be comfortable spending time with myself.
3.I accept myself as who I am and really am glad that I am good person. (I do have my weaknesses, but that is for another day, lol)

HAPPY AND GRATEFUL: Sometime back I met this wise monk who was visiting from India. As we were talking about being glass half full, he reminded me that is a matter of perspective. He said that even if I have a few drops of water in the glass, I should be happy that glass can hold water. If I have the glass alone, I should be happy at least I have the glass. If I do not even have the glass, I should be happy that I have two hands and each can hold a glass. Now all I need is the glass and then some water. Wow!
PROUD DAD: I’m the proud father of an amazing 17 -year-old daughter, and I lead a happy life. Now all I need is my other half to complement it all!
