Meet a man from United States. Hi. I'm a pretty laid back, easygoing guy; I'm proud to say that I can even stay calm even when a classroom of high school students test me. I have pretty simple tastes and enjoy the basics in life, but there is one thing I know I couldn't do without: learning and trying new things. The list of things is longer than would be worth typing or reading, but there are some favorites I return to. I love trying a new recipe, learning languages or new words (I teach at a school with mostly Hispanic students so it's mainly Spanish, but I have learned a few words in Vietnamese and Dinka also), or working on restoring my bulldozer (every new repair I try takes awhile on account of being a novice equipment mechanic, but I'm getting there).
I also like to go to the gym to lift weights. I'm not a gym rat, I just find that it relaxes me and it's one of those rare things where you are doing it right when you take time off! Powerlifting is something I've really enjoyed sharing that with my students too. I run a little weightroom at my school and it is fun to pass on the things I've learned or been taught through the years. It's hard to turn off the teacher I suppose.
As far as what I'm looking for I would have to say that I like women, and just people in general, who are honest, straightforward, and don't take themselves too seriously. My match is an optimist, likes being around positive people that look forward to getting out of bed and starting the day, enjoys learning and trying new things, and likes a mix of activity and downtime. A couple last things: I love a woman that can hold a conversation about anything and nothing, and who has a sarcastic sense of humor with a quick wit.
