I just hate the thought of swimming. I can swim, however, I just don’t like concentrating on sports where I cannot breathe 100% of the time. In addition, I finished playing my 2nd round of golf in my life without a single lesson. I think I am a natural.

I may've been the first high-schooler in American History to skip school in favor of going to the Public Library to read.
This habit had the dual benefit of ruining my grades and retarding my social life.
Turns out the library is the absolute last place Truant Officers look. So my illeagle reading ran free until I was a fully formed nerd.
Big Nerd. I had a fovorite anthropologist (Marvin Harris) at a time and place where having a fovorite anthropologist could get you beaten up once a day.
Took my bad habits with me to college, (CCA in Oakland) where I did my reading at Cybelle's and/or Zac's Pizza on College Avenue.
Fell in love with history and humanism (George Orwell, Stephen Jay Gould, et al).
Being in art school, I also studied art and art history. But I wound up working in a Technical/Engineering field
(don't ask me how I'm qualified for it).
I cannot explain myself.

I'm a lifelong atheist AND I was involved with a church for several years and made some great friends there.

Well, I have an almost perfect life so far.. a nice place to call home, a good car and a fun and exciting career and I’m truly fortunate to have some really amazing people in my life but what is truly missing is someone to share this life with. You know? Someone to have great new experiences with, explore and take drives to nowhere in particular, learn with, laugh with and someone to enjoy every minute of it all with.. The first person you think of every morning and that last conversation every night.
I guess that you can tell that I am a romantic sort.. I can’t help but be reminded about how life is so short and I would like to share this amazing life with someone who is honest, caring and who tries to be the best they can each and every day. I am a firm believer in old fashioned values and am completely chivalrous and I believe that a man should open and hold a door for a lady and pull out her chair for dinner and be there for her, listen to her, communicate with her, always your best to her and treat her with love and understanding. It’s the way that I was raised by my parents and the way that I will always be.
