Date single man from California, United States. I’ve been a very lucky guy so far. I have five children who make me very proud, I have twelve grandchildren who can always make me laugh, and for 42 years -- until she passed away in 2003 -- I had a wonderful wife, companion and friend. It was as good a family life as anyone could ask for. I also had a career in the computer industry that I found very satisfying and now that I’m semi-retired, I have the time to relax and enjoy myself with family, friends and a couple of projects I’ve chosen to take on. So during the week, I work part-time because I like it and I’d miss it if I didn’t do it. At the weekend I visit cafes, read the Sunday papers and watch a ball game sometimes too. And I’ve recently started working out again. I ran a couple of marathons in 2003 and I’d like to run the LA marathon next year. Altogether then, I think I’ve got a pretty good life -- and I’m very grateful for it -- but if it’s taught me anything, I’ve learned that the best things are even better when shared.
And that’s where you come in, I hope. I have strong values, plenty of integrity and a pretty big playful streak too, and I think I’d get on best with someone who shared those. That could be where the similarities end though. You don’t have to be able to program a computer, sit through a football game or read adventure novels. But it would be nice if you liked dancing (I’m taking ballroom dancing lessons), attend church (I do), and be interested in camping trips, cruises or foreign travel (I’ve never done that). I don't know if love can come along again but I know I would be twice blessed if it did. If that could be you, say hello.
