I have been to places like Mother Teresa's tomb, Gandhi's home and eternal flame, Jampath market (the best shopping on earth), Oscar Romero's home and tomb in El Salvador, the amazing water baths in Korea, the waters of Vietnam, and Arenal Volcano in Costa Rica, just to name a few. I have ridden on elephants, bathed naked in the public baths, had massages in every country I have visited, seen orphanges in the villages of Vietnam, dipped in the Ganges river, had henna done on my hands and feet, held a dying baby, and had my photo published in an Indian newspaper. I lived in Baja Mexico for a while and speak Spanish and love how that has opened up new worlds and experiences. I like exploring new places and getting off the beaten path.
I am a perinatal and early childhood therapist. I love child development and perinatal health. I love being around babies and mothers. Families and young children are my passion. Sometimes my job requires that I deal with the loss of a baby and though its very sad I consider it an honor to be with a family as they say good-bye to their newborn.
I have two amazing children of my own (1 and 4yo) and they make me laugh every day! They wear me out too but they fill me up in ways I cant describe. They are the center of my life. My son and I play superhero (he likes to be Iron man and Im usually Spider man) and my daugther is all about pushing her baby doll around in the stroller or playing in her little pool. Im actively getting a very desired divorce (amicable but stressful) and love my time and new life as a single mother and single woman.
I have great friends! Im so lucky. They make me laugh, keep me real, call me on my stuff and cheer me up when Im down. My family is equally as wonderful!
Im hoping to meet a man who loves his live as much as I love mine and wants to share his live with someone else in a fun, relaxed, open and easy way. I am open to dating, flirting, even serious relationships if the right guy comes along but most of all I want to smile around him, look forward to talking with him, have silly banter, share our experiences and enjoy telling stories about our day. Im open to whatever feels right but my children do come first. Im open to having more children but am getting older (I was 37 when I had my first - some of you probably have teenagers already).
Because I have young children my social life is usually limited to parks, pools, Legoland, Diego cartoons, and other fun family things. When Im alone I like to get a foot massage, do my nails, catch up with friends, sip a coffee and people watch, read a People magazine or just take in the quiet and chill out in the hammock. If Im with friends I like a good glass of wine, appetizers, a movie, shopping, being outside and chocolate.
