Date someone special from Jamul, United States. Semi-retired. Was technical executive but now in real estate (an excuse for being retired). I have a few pounds too many but I am in the process of loosing them. I value intelligence, honesty and compassion. For example, I don't like the often used phrase that the glass is half full or half empty. Instead, I analyze it and find that the glass is twice as big as it should be. I don't like neck ties unless they are absolutely necessary, e.g. formal event, but I am no slob either. I don't like big, hollow words and sometimes behave like the kid in the fairy tale of the emperor's new clothes. I am not fond of any organized religion. I was married for 21 years and now divorced for the last 24 years. I like animals, especially dogs. I planned to get my own dog after I met my match so that we could pick it out together. Got impatient and adopted an adorable dog from the pound. Now my match must not only like me but also my dog. I have about 6 what I call "rent-a-dogs" which I pick up on my twice daily 2 mile walk through the very rural neighborhood. Local dating is convenient and easy to sniff each other out but if I would limit myself to a 20 mile radius I would mostly find only rabbits and deers. For the right women I would travel around the world. The problem is only to find out by long distance communication if she is the right one. Will need a lot of patience. I also love kids, especially since I do not have the full responsibility anymore for the upbringing and can afford to spoil them. I am longing to fall in love and stay in love forever.
