I am a young 62-year old long-time Santa Cruz native and am currently separated and on the way to ending a long marriage. I have 2 amazing young daughters(19 and 15) and I am active in their lives. I am retired from the corporate world and am an independent contractor.
My family and friends would describe me as fiercely loyal, patient, funny(sometimes irreverently!), considerate and honest.
I don't drink or smoke.
I do a lot of volunteer work for a county organization , have coached youth sports in the area for over 10 years and absolutely love it.
I am pretty active and enjoy skiing, basketball, soccer, gym, movies, plays, concerts, jogging and watching my kids play sports.
Not a big hiker but I am pretty game for anything. Weekend getaways are really cool, San Diego being a favorite spot of mine.
A fun day would be a jaunt to San Francisco and exploring what that city has to offer, a cruise down the coast,
I have traveled to Germany(lived there for a time), London, Paris, Mexico, Brazil, lots of states and open to more.

I value an educated, curious, always learning sort of man. Humor is an absolute must! Sometimes kids make me laugh right out loud, as well as some antics of animals. I find many, many reasons to laugh each day. There is still world that I want to see and dreams I want to achieve. I have achieved some of my dreams but there is always another - just out there!
