I have been single since April 2010. I start LPN school this year and hope to graduate with my technical certificate in June 2013. I'm a full-time single mother. My son is my number one priority in my life. I intend to finish my BS in Psychology sometime in the future. I have many goals for myself, too many to try to recollect on here. I attend Church of Christ on a weekly basis. I'm not perfect, but I strive to be. I am a music junkie. I love all kinds of music, except for heavy rap and screamo music. I have a sarcastic personality. I enjoy being outdoors with my son when the weather is nice. It is hard to classify myself. I want someone who will challenge me intellectually, spiritually, help me become the best I can be and vice versa. I want someone who loves me for being myself. I want someone that I can have fun with, and I know that I can depend on when things get tough. Things I'm thankful for: Having a few select friends that are quality people. My health, family, and where I'm at in terms of my life goals; for example, every day I'm getting in better shape. Having the opportunity to meet people from all walks of life; I'm not judgmental; I've partied with NYC millionaire hedge fund managers, ballroom dancers, starving artists (literally dumpster divers - my awesome arteest friend!) and Romanian bartenders (one of my best friends), and it's feels really awesome to know so many different people from different backgrounds. When it comes to clothing, I'm also thankful that it's been really easy for me: either a suit or T-shirts - no need to worry about what to wear when it's 7AM and I just woke up!

How I feel about life: "Dancing is wonderful training for girls, it's the first way you learn to guess what a man is going to do before he does it." Latin dance is my favorite hobby at the moment - but I'm only above average - for now! With a new partner here in California as of last week, things are looking up! Will be winning in no time lol.
I know what type of person I'm looking for. As a business school graduate, I've seen firsthand the type of smart but shallow people that go into Wall Street for the money, and that's not what I want.
