To be a part of this over analytic world we must aggressively stamp our own personality into what is considered to be socially acceptable. Think about the word acceptable for a second,.... Acceptable; definition -adequate, though not outstanding or perfect.?? Why wouldn’t you want to be outstanding or perfect in what ever aspect of life you choose? Isn’t that what we strive for every day, or are “expected of” every day? I, for one, am not looking for approval - nor am I searching for the great answer to life’s incomprehensible mystery, but I am comfortable in knowing that I have much to learn and I’m objective enough to absorb what I can without question. I mentioned earlier that true colors eventually show. In order to build trust in the people that enter your life you must not only define yourself as to who you are, but have the ability to live up to what you say you are.
We all know or have been told that we’re here for a reason, right? Well, find that reason, live that reason, and for God’s sake share that reason. Weather insignificant or truly powerful, know your purpose and involve others in your endeavors. Im a very simple man and don’t ask much out of life, but I certainly will continue to challenge myself to understand why I am here and what truly makes me happy. I am not one to drive someone to a certain belief or situation, but I tend to pull people toward what I believe. What that means is simple, don’t let someone push you into anything, but let them lead you into something. As a human race we are predetermined to accept change. How you accept it is up to you. Personally I take it with open arms. Change my world, my way of life, my idea of what I think is right, or whatever you throw at me, but know this, with change comes growth and enlightenment. So I say to you, don’t wait for the change, create it!
In closing, lets not define each other as to what we have, drive, or where we live. Lets challenge each other to be open to ideas, thoughts, and abilities to create new impressions that bend the process of normal everyday Life....

That being said, I am 50 years old and had the good fortune of living a life rich with experiences…both good and bad. Starting at the present and looking back, I am a Professional Educator in a public school system teaching high school aged students Mathematics – a career I truly respect and enjoy!
Prior to this, I was a mid-level Executive Manager for a Fortune 500 company, a former business owner/operator, and a former military officer in the United States Army. My time as a Police Officer and member of the SWAT team provided the funding for my undergraduate studies at UCA.
Long story short, we all have a history that made us who we are. Now the big question remains…how do we find that special person that completes us?
I am reminded of the movie “Open Range” where Charley Waite (Kevin Costner) and Sue Barlow (Annette Bening) ultimately cross paths seemingly as polar opposites. Charley is driven by his code of honor and lives a life unencumbered by civilization. Sue has searched for a lifetime for that special someone to spend her life with and finally realizes that Charley is the man in which she embraces both his heart and his soul. When you see how he comes to love her unconditionally, his devotion, his commitment, and his pledge to her lifelong happiness… (*Sigh*)…I’m just looking for my “Sue Barlow” to spend the rest of my life with. I do hope she is out there somewhere, and waiting to be discovered.
Summarizing, my professional career is right where I want to be. Engaging student learners in a world beyond the classroom is what drives me…a passion if you will. I have a 14 year old son that wants to attend ASMSA in Hot Springs, and frankly has the horsepower to pull it off – giving him that opportunity is a priority of mine. Realizing that I might have 10 or 20, maybe 50 years to accomplish my goals is another reason I do what I do.
If you think you want a man committed to making every day better than the day before, a man that will fulfill your dreams, a man that will love you with the passion you deserve, a man that will hold you when your down and be there to celebrate the good times, a man that does not have to lie, cheat, or steal...
