I am receiving many "winks". This was such an impulse thing, it popped up on the screen! I am not in a position for very much of a relationship yet. My husband left me last August, it was a tremendous shock!! Broke my heart! We built a tremendous business together and I thought a tremendous life and future but things don't always work out the way you plan or dream, so you have to pick up and start over and try to live life again.
For all those who have winked or are interested, I suffer from neuropathy, have lupus (it is in remission now but you never know), don't want to not be truthful, this is a part of my life now - wish it wasn't but it is. Most of the time no one can tell there is anything wrong with me, which is great!! To many men being ill, especially a chronic illness is a definite turn off. And I can understand that. I wish I could leave it behind, too but alas! I look around and there it is, still hanging around!!!
I don't make a habit of visiting bars, in fact I was 36 before I even visited one! Yeah, funny, lol I know! I am a terrible dancer. I love to cook but only if I have someone to cook for, it is not fun cooking for only yourself. This is the first time in my life I have lived completely alone. But I find it is not all bad and I have survived (lol) a year of living alone, now. I own an older 1940's home on 16 acres with a reallly large pond that has a very tiny island with a charming rustic bridge to it. We love to use the paddle boats! I feed the wild birds, my ducks and the squirrels, and yes, the chipmunks! I feel very awkward here but I am sure I will get used to it. I don't know if I am ready for this yet, I quit in the middle of filling everything out last night and haven't yet subscribed even.
Eventually I want to have a deep loving caring fullfilling for the rest of my life committment to a wonderful, warm, loving,caring committed man. Would love just having that closeness, that warmth and companionship you can enjoy even when the two of you are doing nothing special - just planting in the garden or watching the birds.
