Date single man from Arkansas, United States. I really enjoy living in Northwest Arkansas! We live in the middle of these beautiful wooded hills that are full of great driving roads for us race car driver wannabes. There are lots and lots of great restaurants with great food, wine and fruity martinis. And one of the best things is that there are a lot of concert venues and night clubs where we can see and hear lots of rock and blues and jazz and even room to dance to it! If we want to change the pace and get a little “culture” we have Crystal Bridges or the Walton Art Center. Then, of course, there is Beaver Lake, one of the prettiest lakes anywhere. And if you’re lucky enough to live by the water, about sunset, you can grab your iPod and a martini, walk down to the dock, get on the boat and go for a slow cruise and marvel at the light show that the sunset, the clouds and the trees make on the water. I’m really happy about living in Northwest Arkansas but I’d be even happier if I had a soul-mate to enjoy it with.
My ideal soul-mate would love rock, blues and jazz and like to dance, would like going out for some great food, would like hanging out at the lake and cruising on the water, maybe with family (hers or mine) once in a while. She would like jumping into the car and going for a road trip or occasionally jumping on an airplane to find a nice island somewhere. Date someone special from Arkansas, United States. I am not even remotely political...........and a lousy salesman.........so trying to talk my way into your door is completely out of my league. I have been on the singles inactive list for 5 years..........and I'm having trouble getting back my instincts for things... I am a fairly instinctive person..........and without a face to face I can't feel the "essence" I have learned to desire. I am plugging along here trying to find someone local.........and the only game in town for a face to face is the VFW.........and I just can't drink that much anymore..... My essence has never let me down.........and without it being there I am defensive and not very entertaining over the phone.... When I find it..........I'm a different person. Finding it is a priority for me........because it makes me a "much" happier person... I am retired and comfortable here.......... I came from the West Coast just ahead of the meltdown (instinct) in the housing market. I'm not looking to set the world on fire...........just alittle nurturing and good feelings. Am I the only one over 60 who wonders if they can "ever" feel like that again..... I am here waiting if you are at all intrigued by my sincerity............or feel likewise.

FIRST DAUGHTER SAYS: "All my girlfriends say "your dad is so handsome" and while I agree, I know him to be so much more. He's a southern gentleman, deep thinker and sometimes practical joker. (But I'll get him back, lol). He can be the life of the party, a natural leader and always the man his friends go to for advice. That being said, he does all this without pretense. He's past the flash with the confidence of knowing he is the real deal. Perfect example, when he first moved to Florida, within 3 days knew all the neighbors on a first name basis as they started dropping by to say hi or just lend a hand. He put in a new front yard in days, found his group of Harley riders and even found some friends to hit the golf course with. He's a serious movie buff and world traveler...but never too busy for a beautiful woman. Guess I should leave a little to discover, you won't be disappointed."
Ok, now from me: I am not a rich man however financially comfortable. I am very spontaneous and known to hop a plane at a moments notice. Touring Italy last September was my last spontaneous move. I enjoy meeting people; a trate passed to me by my father who "Never met a stranger." I am honest to a fault and sometimes forced to pay the price for this luxury. I believe that, "Evil happens when good men stand and do nothing." Passion is easy for me but I think "love and respect" must go hand in hand. I love a good factual discussion / debate, but refuse to argue. I welcome you changing my mind, because if you do I must have been wrong. I spend my time finding solutions rather than wasting time like Obama by blaming Bush. I am not a fan of drama , but will listen all the same. When a lady shares a problem, it rarely means she wants me to fix it. I have always been active in sports, have still have my scuba gear, ski equipment, golf clubs, boat and Harley Davidson. While I seldom drink and never drink alone, I would welcome an invitation to meet you and your friends for a friendly happy hour. Just name the time and place.
