My name is Ben and I am a native Arizonan that has basically lived my whole life in the Phoenix metro area with a few years in Tucson mixed in as well. Full disclosure, "athletic and toned" may be a bit of a stretch, but I feel using "a few extra pounds" doesn't really do me justice either. I go to the gym 2-4 times a week, play in sports leagues (basketball, football), jog, and hike regularly. I have completed a half marathon, the spartan race, and am scheduled to do a Tough Mudder in July. If you don't know what that is, you should look it up...and pray that I survive :)
No I don't have a degree, but that is because I have worked for the same company for over 11 years and have worked my way into management. I was going to school when I first got the job, but my company is involved in the outsourcing/offshoring business and started to have me travelling for a couple year stretch which was not really conducive to going to school. I have not done any travel for work for a while now, but I have been to some not so exciting places such as North Dakota and Kansas (no offense to anyone from either of these places, haha) and to some exciting places such as Jamaica and India. I do love to travel personally as well and have been to many US cities as well as places like Costa Rica, Poland, and the Caribbean.
Like most guys I am big into sports, mostly football and basketball (Go Suns & Cards) and certainly love to attend games live. No worries though, my schedule does not revolve around sports...so missing games isn't really a huge deal either.
As far as what I am looking for...I guess someone that I would have some shared interests with, someone that is open and honest, and someone that I can spend the rest of my life with. I would enjoy taking this person out for a nice dinner as much as I would like to just relax at home and make dinner ourselves followed with a movie on the couch. Hopefully that person is out there somewhere!
