Date single man from Paradise, United States. My closest friends would say that I'm boy scout. trust worthey kind cheerful and loyal. I smile at babys puppys and good looking ladies. I'm most proud of my family. We are very close. I'm greatful for my good health and my dog and the wonderful life i'm enjoying. my social life is good with lots of friends. Meet a soulmate from Paradise, United States. O. K., so I don't actually leave my number in phone booths (do they even have those anymore?). But I do feel pretty open to the unexpected and the spontaneous. Generally an active, handy and basically down-to-earth artist type, who's blessed with a sense of curiosity about life. 2nd-gen Italian American descent, sometime 'slumlord', gentleman farmer & beekeeper, plus lotsa interests including travel near & far (Bali!), motorcycles, boating, real estate, home improvement, the arts, dancing, astrology, philosophy, politics, ideas, etc., etc.... and naturally, learning more about whatever you're passionate about. Spirituality is also important to me, but we each have to find our own path. Probably the only things am not so interested in would be rap music, fundamentalist anything ("must love _ _ _"), or right-wing politics (although I might be kinda curious about that one!).
Otherwise, no big "shopping lists" here. "Simpatico" chemistry is important, as is emotional availability for a LTR, but age isn't. Mostly I'm a pushover for a bit of charm or an engaging manner to start. As in life, the rest is an adventure.... let's explore the next chapter.

Date someone special from Paradise, United States. I've been a high school special ed teacher, now retired and dedicated to students feeling a little less anxious about their places in the world. I'm passionate about kids' learning, peace in the world, and trying to embrace life on its terms rather than mine. I love to sail my small boat and to flail away at golf balls at a near by course. I've been a Hollywood film/sound editor and have developed an addiction for films of all sorts. A few favorites that I can see again and again are: "Treasure of Sierra Madre", "Midnight Cowboy", "Amadeus", and "Return of Martin Guerre".
And I'm looking for someone with a keen sense of her place in the world and a desire to embrace life and other people-- a kind, passionate, generous spirit. I think that an off beat sense of humor is attractive, along with the where-with-all to be cerebral and analytical at one moment and to enjoy things emotional, physical and athletic the next.
I no longer have a beard.
