Date men and women from United States / Arizona / Bonita, 32 year old

Date single man from Bonita, United States. I grew up in a small town farming community called Granite Falls in south eastern Minnesota where the Minnesota River runs adjacent to what was once the main street through town. In its peak, coincidentally the year I was born, the population of Granite Falls was 3,451. I spent the first 12 years of my life in that small town attending Bert Raney Elementary School, community sponsored ice cream socials, rodeos, camping, fishing, and canoeing along the river with my family, and of course attending the First Baptist Church every Sunday morning and Wednesday night. Occasionally I would spend the weekend out at my uncle’s farm playing with the cousins, building forts in the woods, and riding horses in the pasture. Being the oldest of four, I was permitted much more freedom than my younger siblings, so I would often disappear in the woods exploring or hike the railroad tracks to the dusty gravel road that lead to my grandparent’s house. My grandparents were wonderful people and a testament to what a marriage should be. In the fall of each year my dad and I along with a good friend of his and his son would take a backpacking/canoeing trip in the Boundary Waters in northern Minnesota. One of my most memorable experiences of my young life was on such a trip. One night after viewing the aurora borealis in the northern sky, I was lying in the tent attempting to fall asleep, I heard a sound that reached to my inner soul and haunts me to this day. It was the timber wolves howling at the moon. I will never forget that moment, and I will cherish those enchanting early years of my life as long as I live.
Just before my 12th birthday, my parents and I, along with my two younger sisters and my younger brother moved from the small town of Granite Falls to the mountainside community of Chipita Park, CO where I would live until the day after my 18th birthday. During those years in Colorado I attended middle school and high school, found lifelong friendships, continued in sports, primarily wrestling, began to truly understand the importance of family, explored the mountains endlessly to include hiking, biking, backpacking, camping, fishing, white water rafting and skiing, and in addition had my first experience of living in close proximity to the city. Some of my greatest memories with friends and family are from those years. Four wheeling in the old Jeep Comanche and hunting with my dad, long talks with and learning to cook with mom in the kitchen, playing outdoors winter, spring, summer, and fall with my siblings and the neighbor kids, and all getting into all sorts of shenanigans with my friends. As I write this I cannot help but think what a blessed life I have lived!
I graduated high school a month before my 18th birthday then on the day after my birthday I enlisted in the U.S. Navy. It was the first time I was ever truly away from home, and to be honest it was a little scary at first. I spent three months in boot camp in Great Lakes, Illinois, then on to six months of schooling before being transferred to my ship and permanent duty station in Everett, WA. On the ship I worked as a gas turbine system technician which basically translates to a jet engine mechanic. During the 3.5 years I spent onboard ship I was fortunate enough to travel to 14 countries on 3 different continents.
Since separating from the Navy, I moved to San Diego and have been living and working here ever since. Recently, I took a solo trip to Yosemite National Park, and during my stay there I took some time to reflect on my life. I realized that, as wonderful as city life can be, I have become very detached from my roots. Therefore, my most current endeavor is to spend more time in the great outdoors. I want to bring back that sense of adventure as well as balance to my life, and God willing, find that special someone to begin together the next exciting journey of this crazy wonderful thing we call life!

Date men and women from Bonita, United States. I'm a complete nerd and I'm not afraid to admit it. I'm always singing along to music, whether in my car or in the grocery store. I've read the whole Harry Potter series and I'm on the third book of The Hunger Games trilogy. See... Nerd. I love learning new things and am currently going back to school. I'm a single mom who is both nervous and excited to get into this whole dating thing. I'm looking for someone who puts God first in life and relationships.
