. I'm an outdoors guy and I'm all about toys and tools. I have two remote cabins, one in the mountains and one on a river.The mountain cabin is where my friends and I ride snowmobiles several weekends in the spring and a great place to pick blueberries in late summer. The river cabin is a retreat not far from town where I can fish or hunt or just relax with friends. I just bought a piece of desert hillside in rural Arizona. Now I have a place to spend the coolest part of the Alaskan winters. My plan is to build a house and a shop there so I can work on my many and varied projects. With a small 5th wheel camper, I (we) can travel to see anything we hear about that sounds interesting then go home and have fun with the projects until something else comes up.
I'm not religious, if you are that is your business. I won't belittle you or make an effort to change you. While I may not agree, if it's important to you, it's important to me to support you.
I've only felt that elusive magical spark a few times and even though one or both of us always wound up hurting, usually me it seems, (not a complaint, just an observation) the ride has always been worth been worth the price of admission.
I retired a couple years ago, so now I can work and play anytime and anywhere I choose. Long term, I plan to develop this 40 acres of timber land that I live on into a residential subdivision. My criminal record is clean, no felonies...or for that matter no misdemeanors either. I did get a speeding ticket, 95 in a 55, back in the 80's. That one cost me a few points. Who'd a thunk ther'd be a cop way out there. Lately I've talked to some ladies that are looking for someone more laid back than I am. From what was described, I guess that means sitting around doing nothing most of the time or in my terms, LAZY. That isn't the way my life works. I'm not saying that I never have any slack time, but there is usually always something going on. Also, I'm not saying that I expect you to be working/playing by my side constantly, you need your own projects and priorities too. I lead a pretty busy life and if that isn't the way you're wired, then we probably aren't a very good match. Sorry ladies, no photo, no reply, no exceptions.
I'm looking for a happy, positive and upbeat lady to share all the good times and make the not so good times not so bad. Honesty and trustworthyness are a big deal with me. I'm probably best described as easy going and I despise conflict. If you're looking for someone to yell at and fight with you may as well keep looking. I am not the guy for you. Also,I can't imagine any circumstance that would cause me to be violent with someone I love, so rest your mind on that one.

. I have lived in Alaska for the last 17 years ,I have been building on my house for the last 17 years. It is 3 stories 7 bedrooms and I'm still not done yet I have 100 feet of riverfront of the Kenai River River in my backyard. My business is doing very good, I have 3 riverboats two guide boats and one fun boat.The fall is my favorite time of year when all the tourists leave and I can just relax at the campfire in my backyard and trying to catch a silver or maybe a rainbow. I like going on vacations and see other parts of the world .
