I spent over 25 years in the Caribbean cooking on charter and private yachts. The smallest was 36 feet and the largest was 130 feet. I have been the cook on a number of yacht deliveries too. This was all a lot of fun, but also a lot of work, I kind of got burnt out. So I bought my own 32 foot sail boat, worked on it for 5 years fixing it up, and then I went sailing. I sailed all through the Caribbean, along the north coast of South America, through the Panama Canal, up the west coast of Central America and Mexico, and ended up in San Diego, CA.
