I love to workout and started running last year, but had an ankle injury so lately have been trying to rebuild strength. Have ran in several 5k's, not for the competition, but for the satisfaction knowing that I can do it.

I guess another important thing about me and who I am is that I have juvenile onset rheumatoid arthritis, although I am not in pain. It has affected my knees the most. I have had my knees replaced and I have no problems getting around. I believe these trials in my life have been a blessing; they have made me a stronger person. God never gives us more than we can handle, even though we may question it at times!
