I have had one serious relationship since my divorce and all I can say is that I acquired a lot of life lessons from it. I learned that just because someone looks good on paper and appears to have their act together that they may not really be a good person. I've learned that there are some people out there who are perfectly ok with taking you for granted and that there are some questions in life I will never get the answer to. I know that I am ultimately the one in charge of my happiness. People say it all the time but HONESTY really is the most important trait in someone. I consider myself an upfront and honest person and expect the same from my partner. I hate excuses and people who say things just because they think that's what I want to hear. I cry when I laugh and I hope one day I meet someone who can make me "cry" on a daily basis (in a good way, never in the bad way). I would like to meet someone with some common interests and it seems it's getting harder to do these days. I thought that this would be a good way to meet people from other areas as well. I want to see the world and although I don't expect you to have the means to make that happen, at least have the same desire. Hopefully there are some guys out there who have been through the long term relationship whether that be a marriage or not and have learned from that relationship and grown from their mistakes. I would like to meet some people who I could enjoy talking to and see where it goes from there.
