Date men and women from Alabama, United States. hmmm...description...have accomplished some of my highest goals in life ae: business, community values and world travels, however, my children, grandchildren and loyal friends are my highest and most valued achievement. my photo is...who knows where? I am an attractive, educated, well traveled woman with an average body...good so far? I am hoping to make it to see my face on the 100 yr old women on smuckers jar! I am a transplant from Calabasas, Ca to bay area 11 yrs ago, finding Danville very similar to Calabasas with lots of free range. Laughter and family/friends have made my life complete and rewarding...am a "down to earth sophisticate"...makes sense, right? Positive energy goes a long way...do you have it?

....WORK IN PROGRESS-First Draft—..…life is an adventure and sometimes I think I need to live faster to do all the things I’d like to do... sounds diabolical for someone who loves to sit on the beach and watch the waves… right up there with star gazing and sitting by the fire. Began working at 12 resulting in an over educated, extensively traveled, amazingly fortunate participant in the universe. I run the edge, thus sometimes falling off. Love music, opera to jazz, and all of the arts, enjoy cooking, great restaurants, dancing, snorkeling, horse races, sailing, photography, museums, friends for dinner, large and small gatherings, getting dressed up, hanging out in shorts and T shirt, generally a social person but love quiet time alone or with a special someone. Open to new ideas, discuss anything, love listening to you talk about your passions and participating in making your dreams and fantasies come true.
--- Listening to the rain on the roof of my Adirondack lean-to, (born and raised in the Adirondack mountains of New York with many migrations from east to west and now living in California), planting a garden that will take care of itself, reading and pouring over maps of lost civilizations, collecting artifacts and books, making a card rather than buying one, traveling the far reaches of the earth, designing and sewing a gown, building a solar house 1980, joking and philosophizing with friends, are just a few of the things that keep me out of mischief. Biggest turn on: brains mixed with common sense.
--- Seeing a comet from a desolate beach in New Zealand, savoring fresh caught lobster in Bora Bora, sleeping under the stars in the Himalayas, being overwhelmed by the sights and sounds in Shanghai, trekking through the Andes, seeing the desert diamonds glitter in the rising sun over the dunes in the Saudi desert, enjoying wine at a Paris bistro, a coffee at Lake Como, resting your feet in a cool stream in the Rockies, are all things to be shared with a love.

MY EDUCATION
It never ends…one of the biggest challenges is to find out what I don’t know..that I don’t know. I know a little about a lot of things, a lot about a few things and I know nothing compared to what there is to know. I have managed to pass a few minimum standards.

Everything is negotiable…and everything is of equal value at a given point in time. I do not know where everything has come from nor where any thing comes from for that matter. Knowing where matter comes from is what matters and yet in our daily lives it really doesn’t matter. The only thing that matters is how I live my life.

I just got back from skiing at Heavenly...I thought I would miss this...got the camera out and shot the event....amazing watching .
